Economic Policy
"As a Party who helped create and pass bailout legislation inevitably costing tax payers and their families trillions of dollars, to the opposition of the majority of their constituents, it is hard to decipher if there is a Republican position on the role of government in todays financial markets? Do we still believe that markets helped reign in the period of prosperity in the 1980's as the Austrian School does or do we believe that central planning and government intervention creates wealth as defined by Keynesian economists."
